We are delighted to announce that we recently appointed Caroline Harris to be Age in Spain’s Regional Co-ordinator for the northern Spanish regions of Aragon, Asturias, the Basque Country, Cantabria, Galicia, La Rioja and Navarra. Caroline will support UK nationals living in those regions to secure their residency rights under the terms of the UK’s Withdrawal Agreement.
Caroline is originally from London but has lived in Galicia for 20 years. She said:
“I hope that my role at Age in Spain will help support UK nationals living in Northern Spain so that they can continue their lives in the most beautiful part of this fantastic country.”
Age in Spain Director, Helen Weir, commented “We’re delighted to welcome Caroline to the Age in Spain team and we know that her enthusiasm and commitment will be of tremendous value. The regions that Caroline is covering bring their own particular challenges in terms of supporting UK nationals with the residency process. Obviously, there is the geography itself, and the fact that people are far less likely to live in identifiable British communities than in some other areas of Spain. Of course there are the restrictions caused by Covid19, too. Despite that we are committed to making sure we provide support to all UK nationals that need it”
If you live in one of the above regions of northern Spain, remember you can contact the Age in Spain residency helpline at residency@ageinspain.org or by calling +34 932 209 741
