Updated: Oct 11

Legal, Translation, Health Insurance, Medical Certificates and Tax services.

We are often asked for advice on professional services. We always recommend that you use certified professionals and that you seek out recommendations from trusted sources plus a quote/draft contract for the service you need before engaging anyone.

The services listed below are provided independently of Age in Spain and we cannot be responsible for any actions as a result of you contacting them or contracting with them for a service, whether via Age in Spain's email link or any other means.

These email links are not affiliate links (i.e. we do not receive a commission if you click on them). We explain in each case what our relationship with the service is. Please read the disclaimer notice below.

Whether you are looking for health insurance as part of a residency or visa application or just to give you peace of mind, navigating the different offers can be confusing and stressful, especially if you don't speak fluent Spanish. Age in Spain can help. Contact us to speak to a healthcare advisor, with extensive experience of the different systems and healthcare providers in Spain. The advisor can help if:

  • You want to discuss your private health insurance options before getting a quote or at any point in the application process

  • You want private health insurance as a back up to your public healthcare in Spain (including S1's for UK pensioners in Spain)

  • You need a medical certificate to support a new VISA application

  • You are over 70 and looking for private health insurance

  • You want the option of an English speaking health provider (through health insurance)

The advisor can arrange instant quotes and comparisons to suit your requirements, including the cover options if you are having trouble in finding a policy because of any pre-existing medical condition, your age, if you want an English speaking medical service or the option for international health cover when travelling.
